Most artists are more inclined to procrastinate than anyone else. Relying too much on “the flow” and too less on even the simplest rules of time management leads to frustration and lack of understanding how to get everything done on time (and a musician of the nowadays has a lot of things to juggle).

Ilpo, better known as Resound, a drum & bass producer, blogger and music production instructor has been in that situation himself. But he’s been learning how to stay productive throughout years, achieved great results, and now shares his experience in the third episode of the We Spin Recipes podcast.

Here are some of the topics we talked about with Ilpo:

• Blogging as a tool to learn new things and build an audience.
• How you benefit from sharing all your knowledge.
• Taking a “30 days productivity” challenge.
• How to beat procrastination as a musician.
• Using accountability to get more things done.
• The beauty of getting rid of stuff.
• Lift and other productivity apps for artists.
• Collaborating with other producers online.
